We love to take the time to give back to the Kansas City area community when possible. On Thursday, December 8, our team went to Harvesters’ main facility in Kansas City to spend three hours packing boxes of nutritional food to feed families in need.
A Bit About Harvesters
For those of you outside of our area, Harvesters is a regional food bank serving a 26-county area of northwestern Missouri and northeastern Kansas. They provide food and related household products to more than 620 not-for-profit agencies like food pantries, community kitchens, homeless shelters, children’s homes and more. Also offered are educational programs aimed to increase community awareness of hunger and teach about the importance of nutrition.
